  • Are you ready to take the helm and lead an extraordinary team of performers, captains, and adventurers on a swashbuckling journey? Pirate Life Theatre is looking for a bold and dynamic Location Manager to oversee the magic of our immersive pirate experience. This role combines leadership, operations, performance, and adventure—all with a view of the water and the thrill of the sea!

  • Pirate Life Theatre is seeking dynamic and versatile Assistant Location Managers to oversee daily operations, perform in productions, manage front-of-house responsibilities, and lead specialized programming initiatives. This role combines leadership, operational management, and performance in a fun and engaging environment. For those interested, there is an opportunity to obtain captaincy and operate our vessels, further expanding their responsibilities and skill set.

    4 Positions Available per Location

  • As an Entertainer, you will bring the exciting world of pirates to life as part of our entertaining, high-energy shows! You’ll perform live shows, engage with guests, and be an integral part of the experience both on-site and at off-site events. Your role will require a passion for performance, a love for immersive experiences, and the ability to engage guests in memorable ways. If you’re ready to become a pirate and make a lasting impact, we’d love to hear from you!

    8-14 Positions Available per Location

  • As Captain, you will bring the exciting world of pirates to life as part of our entertaining, high-energy shows! You’ll engage with guests, and be an integral part of the experience both on-site and at off-site events. You will lead and navigate our vessel while ensuring the safety, engagement, and enjoyment of all aboard. Oversee crew operations, enforce safety protocols, and deliver an immersive experience for guests

    2-6 Positions Available per Location

Shift Types

Regular Shifts

  • Daytime shifts: 5-8 hours between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM

    • Available during May, June, September and October on Saturdays and Sundays

    • Available during July and August on from Tuesday to Sunday

  • Evening shifts: 5-8 hours between 4:00 PM and Midnight

    • Available during May and June from Friday to Sunday

    • Available during July and August from Thursday to Sunday

    • Available during September and October from Wednesday to Sunday

Occasional Shifts

  • Tour / Private Sail Program Shifts. Minimum 3 hours between 8:00AM and midnight

  • Occasional holiday shifts (including Mondays). Minimum 3 hours between 8:00AM and Midnight

Availability

  • March and April

    • No minimum requirements. Approximately 40-80 hours of training dependent on role

  • May, June, September and October

    • Minimum of 10–20 hours per weekend during standard daytime and evening shifts

    • Availability provided during auditions will set Contractor's expected workdays for season

    • Hiring decisions may be influenced by availability and altering of this availability may result in termination or renegotiation of contract

  • July and August

    • Minimum of 30–40 hours per week during standard daytime and evening shifts
